Households

At present, interviews for the fifth wave of the Household Finance and Consumption Survey (HFCS) are being conducted in Austria. Households that are selected into the random sample invited to take part in the HFCS receive an invitation letter together with an information leaflet (available in German only). An interviewer of IFES (Institute for Empirical Social Studies), the survey agency commissioned by the OeNB to conduct the interviews, will contact the selected households shortly after the information material has been sent.
